About the instructor

Vicki Mulyk is a Registered Nurse and is an expert at working with people looking to enhance their best physical attributes. Vicki began her career as a Critical Care and Transport Nurse over 30 years ago and has the pleasure of working in Aesthetics since 1999. She believes that all people are beautiful, therefore aesthetic enhancements should improve and compliment that natural beauty. To build on that philosophy, Vicki founded Cerilean Medical Inc. in 2006 to provide service and training to the medical aesthetic community. Since that time, Vicki has seen patients at various Medical offices and Medical Spa locations through North America. She is also a popular and sought-after teacher/ trainer for Aesthetic training facilities, Pharmaceutical Companies, Laser Companies and private Medical offices across Canada and the United States. She is also a clinical instructor for The University of Alberta, Continuing Education in the School of Dentistry. Her passion for excellence and engaging teaching style has seen her invited to speak and teach throughout Canada, United States and Mexico. Vicki has privately trained several medical disciplines including Dermatologists, Dentists, General Practitioners, Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and Pharmacists. Vicki loves the partnership of art and science and looks forward to blending those two disciplines for many years to come.

Vicki has always loved aesthetics. Even at a young age, she loved wandering the halls of art galleries and museums. It was no surprise that after beginning her Nursing career in the PICU and Emergency Department, she found herself drawn into the new specialty of Medical Aesthetics. She was one of the first Nurse Injectors in Canada, having started in 1999. Believing that all people are beautiful, her philosophy is that aesthetic enhancements should improve and compliment a person’s natural beauty. To build on that philosophy, Vicki founded Cerilean Medical Inc. in 2006 to fill a much needed gap in service and training to the medical aesthetic community.

Her passion for excellence and engaging teaching style has seen her invited to speak and teach throughout Canada, United States and Mexico.

She is a recent transplant to Vancouver and looks forward to exploring with her pup, Bane-the-Beagle.

Why professionals choose Cerilean Medical

Our philosophy

“Aesthetic enhancements should improve and compliment natural beauty.”
Clients should feel confident in their own skin, not try to look like someone (or something) else. We teach Medical Aestheticians how to work with a person’s natural beauty and allow them to age gracefully. Clients should hear “You look good”, not “You look good for your age”

More Hands-On hours

We offer 14 hours of Hands-on learning in small groups, more than the industry average. Students will also benefit from small groups, which allows more interaction with the instructor, as well as collaborative learning.

Continuing Education

After completing the course, alumni will be able to attend 6 weekend Skills Checks throughout the year so that they can share their experiences and learn from each other about best practice and real world examples.

Hands-on in your community

We want to make sure that clients do not have to travel to big population centres to receive ethical, quality procedures. For groups of 6 or more practitioners, we will travel to your location within Canada.
